Nestled in the heart of Pontypridd, the Bunch of Grapes has been a cornerstone of the community since 1851. With over 170 years of history, we’ve grown from a humble local pub to an award-winning gastropub and microbrewery, all while staying true to our Welsh roots and independent spirit.

 

At the Bunch of Grapes, we pride ourselves on offering more than just a meal or a drink—we offer an experience. Our kitchen celebrates the rich flavours of Wales, crafting dishes that honour local ingredients and traditions. From our signature Merthyr Pie and mash to the freshest cockles on toast, every plate is a nod to the heritage of our land.

 

But we’re not just about incredible food. Our on-site microbrewery, established in 2022, is where the alchemy of brewing comes to life. Using a 500L brewing system with five fermentation vessels, we create a rotating selection of small-batch beers that showcase the best of Welsh brewing.
